Forwarding captured leads to your marketing tools
When your assistant captures a lead, you can automatically forward that lead to a connected marketing tool so it lands in your existing flows and segments — no manual export required. This article shows you how to set that up.
Before you start
You need two things in place:
- A lead-capture step in your assistant that collects at least an Email address (and optionally a phone number). Contact details are what let your marketing tool recognize and match the lead.
- An account with the marketing tool you want to forward leads to.
Step 1: Add a lead-capture step to your assistant
- Open the assistant you want to edit and go to the VerifyBehaviors tab.
- Add a new behavior and choose one of the lead-capture starting points, such as VerifyCapture leads after engagement, VerifyNewsletter signup, or VerifyBlank lead capture.
- Under Form fields, use Add field to choose what to ask the shopper for — Name, Email address, Phone number, or an Opt-in checkbox. Email address is included and required by default.
- Set the Submit button label and Success message shoppers see, then save.

Step 2: Connect your marketing tool
- Go to the Integrations page from the main navigation.
- Find the tile for your marketing tool and click Connect.
- Enter your Private API key (you can copy this from your marketing tool's account).
- Click Test connection to confirm the key works — the status badge will change to Connected.

Step 3: Turn on lead forwarding
In the connection window, under Events to forward, make sure Lead captured is checked. You can leave the other events checked or unchecked depending on what else you want to send. Then click Save.

That's it. From now on, every lead your assistant captures is forwarded automatically.
Forward leads from specific assistants only
By default, your forwarding choices apply across your account. If you want a single assistant to forward a different set of events — or none at all — open that assistant, find its VerifyKlaviyo panel, and adjust the Events to forward checkboxes there. You can also use Disable to stop that one assistant from forwarding while leaving the rest untouched.
Good to know
- A lead is only forwarded if it includes contact details. If a shopper submits the form without an email or phone number, there's nothing for your marketing tool to match, so that lead won't be sent.
- Turning forwarding on affects new leads going forward; it does not resend leads captured earlier.
- Forwarding runs quietly in the background. If your marketing tool is temporarily unreachable, lead capture in your assistant keeps working normally.
VerifySupport for ClickPoint is planned but may not yet be available on your account — check the Integrations page for a ClickPoint tile.
