Builder

The Builder is where you shape how your AI shopping assistant looks, behaves, and what it knows. From here you control the guidance it gives shoppers, the actions it can take, the product data it draws on, and the collections it can recommend from.

Explore each part of the Builder:

• Rules — The guidance that shapes what your assistant says and how it behaves.
• Behaviors — Triggers, templates, and fields that let your assistant take action.
• Data Sources — URL and document sources your assistant can draw on, including organization-wide knowledge sources shared across all your agents.
• Collections — Group products so your assistant recommends from the right set.
• Product Display — Control when product cards appear, what each card type means, and whether product text is translated into the shopper's language.
• Listeners — Let an agent personalize on the pages a shopper visited before they opened the chat.
• Publish & Deploy — Publish your changes and put the agent on your site.
• Product Q&A Install — Install the Product Q&A block on your product pages, and choose where it appears.

Undo and redo design changes

You can step back through the design changes you make in the builder, and step forward again.

• To undo, click the Undo arrow in the toolbar above the preview, just left of the Mobile and Desktop view buttons, or press Cmd+Z (Mac) or Ctrl+Z (Windows).
• To redo, click the Redo arrow next to it, or press Shift+Cmd+Z (Mac) or Shift+Ctrl+Z (Windows).

Hover over either arrow to see which change it acts on. After each undo, a message names the change, for example Undo: Title Text or Undo: Logo Image. Click Redo in that message to bring the change back.

What you can undo: design changes only. That covers colors, typography, styles, the logo and title bar, text, the disclaimer, product tiles, icons, the launcher, and images (logo, favicon, avatar, send button icon, background, and launcher avatar). Changes that Ask AI makes to your design count too, and appear as, for example, Undo: AI change to Primary Color. Rules and content settings cannot be undone this way.

Things to know:

• The shortcuts do not work while you are typing in a field, or while a dialog is open. Inside a field, Cmd+Z or Ctrl+Z undoes your typing, as usual.
• Your history lasts for your current browser session, and holds up to 50 steps.
• Rolling back to a version, or discarding your changes, clears your undo history.
• If the design changed somewhere else since your last step, for example in another tab, undo shows Undo history is no longer available.
• Undo and redo change your draft only. Your live agent does not change until you publish.
