Building an Agent

The agent builder is where you shape your VWAM shopping assistant end to end. From a single workspace you can set its design, define the rules that guide how it talks to shoppers, add product collections and data sources, and preview the live chat as you go. Your changes save automatically as you work, and publishing pushes the latest version to your live agent. If you change your mind about a design edit, use the Undo and Redo arrows in the toolbar above the preview, or press Cmd/Ctrl+Z. See Undo and redo design changes.

Guided Setup

Guided Setup is an optional path for creating a new chat. It explains each section while you configure deployment, brand, products, knowledge, rules, behavior, and design.

You can skip any section and return to it from the journey map. Progress is remembered in browser storage on the browser you are using. Your chat draft remains available in the Full Builder if you exit early.

The preview stays interactive throughout setup. Full-page chats appear by themselves. Embedded chats appear over a neutral storefront preview until storefront snapshots are available.

If your account has Sitewide widget enabled, Guided Setup also offers the corner launcher and its Design controls. Its preview stays inside the storefront area so you can keep using the builder. Verifyconfirm Sitewide widget pilot exposure before publication

Publishing finishes Guided Setup and opens the chat in the Full Builder.
